"My daughter sometimes struggles with words but in ballet class with Ms. Barbara she seems like a different person. I'm so grateful for the studio for giving her a space to find her voice!" - May (mom)

Studio en Avant is the only dance studio we tried that seemed to really care about laying a detailed foundation in dance. What I didn't expect was that she would gain so much confidence in other areas from ice-skating to music class to simply walking into a room. I feel the growth has been remarkable.

We believe each student is a whole person - not just a dancing body.
We know that most of our students will not be professional dancers but ALL of them will be professional people. We offer professional dance training to our students - with the idea that if they ever want to be a professional dancer, they will be equipped with the skills they need. However, all of our programs are designed to empower our students to be confident leaders of their lives and their communities. We believe our students can achieve great things no matter what their body type is and that it is our job give them the confidence and skills to be a force for positive change in the world - in and outside of dance class.
